Sunaofe Review: Ergonomic Office Chairs, Discounts and What to Check

Sunaofe sells ergonomic office chairs and accessories direct to customers, with big headline discounts and a 5-year warranty. We checked what it promises, where its own pages disagree, and what the current codes are.

This guide is a research-based review, not a hands-on test. We have not bought, assembled or sat in a Sunaofe chair. It is built from the store's public pages and press releases, customer-review platforms, and a deals listing, each linked, and we say plainly where sources disagree or where we could not confirm something.

Office chairs are a purchase you feel every day, and the market is full of brands that show a huge discount against an inflated list price. Sunaofe is one of them: a direct-to-consumer brand selling ergonomic chairs and desk accessories from its own website. This review looks at what it offers, how much trust its promises deserve, and what the discounts really amount to.

What Sunaofe actually sells#

Chairs are the core of the range. The ones we could identify are:

  • Boss Pro, a chair that the company's own July 2026 release describes as water-resistant vegan leather, with an adaptive lumbar system, 4D armrests and a retractable footrest that allows recline up to 125 degrees.

  • Atlas, the flagship, announced for pre-order in June 2026 at a list price of $499.99, sold only through the brand's website. The launch release describes dynamic lumbar support, 2D armrests and mesh upholstery.

  • Resistance, an ergonomic chair that appears in our discount list, and the Elite67 mesh chair, which the store has on clearance at up to 72% off.

  • Accessories such as the CTS100 single monitor arm. Some third-party sites also mention standing desks, which we could not confirm.

Who is behind it#

The description that goes with the store says Sunaofe is "backed by Sunon" and draws on more than 30 years of office-furniture work. The launch release names a founder, Jeff Zen. We could not independently confirm the link to Sunon or the 30 years, and the press releases we found date from June and July 2026. Treat it as a young direct-to-consumer brand with an established-sounding backer, not as a long-tested name.

How this review was made#

We could not open every Sunaofe page directly while preparing this, so the details below come from the store's public pages as shown in search results, two company press releases, the review platform Judge.me, a DealNews listing, and the discount list on our own store page. The warranty and return details in particular are worth re-reading on the live site before you buy. We did not order a chair, contact support, or test a return.

Discounts and codes on our store page#

These are the offers listed on our Sunaofe discount codes page when we wrote this. Offers change, so treat the page as the current list.

Three points about these:

  • Check the final price, not the percentage. A "40% off" label is measured against the store's own list price. The store also runs a clearance of up to 72% off, which suggests list prices are set high. Compare the price at checkout with what similar chairs cost elsewhere. One DealNews listing showed a chair at $170, down from $260.

  • Three separate 10% codes. WELCOME, SUNAOFE10 and SUNSAVE10 all give 10%. We would expect only one to apply per order, but we have not tested whether they combine.

  • "Leather" in the offer name. The offer says leather, while the company's own release calls the Boss Pro chair's upholstery vegan leather. Expect a synthetic material.

What stands out#

A real warranty. The warranty page lists five years on the frame, mechanism, gas lift and base. For the first year Sunaofe pays to ship replacement parts within the contiguous US, and after that you pay standard shipping. Normal wear and tear and misuse are excluded. Five years is a substantial period of cover for a chair.

Adjustability for the money. The founder's pitch is chair features usually found at around $1,000, sold factory-direct. Lumbar adjustment, adjustable armrests and recline are all listed, though we have not been able to judge how well they work.

Strong customer ratings. The brand's Judge.me page shows about 4.8 out of 5 from roughly 300 reviews, about two-thirds marked as verified. The homepage quotes 4.8 from 212 reviews, and another listing quotes 387, so the counts do not match across sources, and we found no Trustpilot page to cross-check.

Where to be careful#

The return window is unclear. The homepage advertises a 60-day home trial with free returns. A product page we found says 30 days, with refunds net of return shipping. Other sites quote 14 and 90 days. This matters most for a chair you can only judge by sitting on it for a few weeks. An affiliate review also says returns require the original box and packing, so keep them. Get the terms in writing and keep your order confirmation.

A large refund voids the warranty. The warranty page says orders where the customer has received a refund of 50% or more are voided from warranty coverage.

Little independent testing. Almost everything written about Sunaofe is company material or affiliate content, and the affiliate review we read says it has not tested the chairs. We found no independent test, no forum threads and no durability reports.

Delivery limits. Free shipping covers the contiguous US. One review site says there is no delivery to Alaska, Hawaii or abroad. In-stock orders are quoted at 3 to 7 business days, and pre-order items such as the Atlas at about 90 days.

Price and value#

Chairs we found range from about $170 on a deal to a $499.99 list price for the Atlas. With 10% codes on top of sale prices, the cost can come down further. The value case is a five-year warranty and adjustable features at a direct-to-consumer price. The risk is that the saving is mostly against a high list price, and you have limited independent evidence on durability.

How we scored this#

These scores are an editorial judgement from published information and customer ratings. They are not test results, and a hands-on purchase could move any of them.

ScoreOut of 5Why
Quality3.8A 5-year frame and mechanism warranty and a competitive feature list, with a high customer rating. Held back because no independent test of build or durability exists.
Value4.2Factory-direct pricing, visible discounts and three 10% codes. Held back slightly because the percentages are against the store's own list prices.
Service3.5Customer ratings are high, but we could not verify response times or contact details, the review counts disagree between sources, and we found no Trustpilot page.
Shipping & Returns3.3Free shipping in the contiguous US, but the return window is stated as 30, 60 or other numbers depending on the page, returns may be net of shipping, and delivery is limited.

The overall score of 3.7 is the average of the four.

Who should buy, and who should not#

Buy from Sunaofe if you want an adjustable chair at a direct price, you will read and save the return terms, and you are in the contiguous US.

Look elsewhere if you are outside the US mainland, need a chair quickly, or want independent test results before spending $200 to $500. A retailer with a clear 30-day return and many independent reviews is the safer choice then.

The verdict#

Sunaofe looks like a credible, well-reviewed direct-to-consumer chair brand with a real warranty and genuine savings. What holds it back is the unclear return window and the near absence of independent testing. If you buy, use one of the codes above, confirm the return terms before paying, and keep the box.
